“The purpose of life is being happy.” says the Dalai Lama. Everyone wants to be happy. That’s what we all have in common. But what is happiness? There are as many definitions to happiness as there are people. Many have something to do with conditions outside of ourselves. You know, like “If I had a million dollars” kind of definition. But when it comes to happiness within, happiness with yourself, which is the one that doesn’t change due to circumstances, my favorite definition is “Doing whatever you do with care.” Connecting to generosity of spirit – in your soul. I don’t know of anything more generous of spirit than the breath. When you breathe, which you do about 20.000 times a day, do it wittheh care, because care is of the soul. And when you’re connected to soul – you are happy.
