“What we once loved deeply we can never lose, for what we love deeply becomes part of us”. Helen Keller
This quote by Helen Keller was on a bench I sat on this morning at Madison Square Park after my morning BREAZE practice. I was reading in the morning paper about finding the bodies of the three teenagers who were kidnapped a couple of weeks ago in Israel, and felt similarly to how I felt after 9/11 about retaliation. Perhaps the words I would use today are slightly different, since I have experienced more loss & more love. since then, and yesterday I felt something special in the air, almost like being drunk on generosity of spirit. When I went to make a proposal to an organization this morning, something I have been preparing for months if not years, just fell in my lap effortlessly. All I had to do was to breathe, be grateful and love all the way. Here is what I texted a friend about it. “Something exquisite in the air of loving life all the way, Especially the trauma that separated us from love in the first place. We are in that blessed position of honoring it. I invite you to join me in honoring loss & celebrating life with the five steps of BREAZE.
