The time has come to make peace, with the breath in everything, everywhere…
Peace with old friends who haven’t been seen in a long time
Some with whom you may have had a rift,
But may not remember what the rift was all about….
Peace with family members and friends who have passed a while ago,
Without saying a proper goodbye…
Peace with a suppressed loss, with an old grief,
With regrets that were never fully honored…
with a trauma you thought you’d never heal….
Peace with an old shirt that hasn’t been worn for over 10 years,
With a piece of music that hasn’t been heard for over a decade,
and with pounds you gained and with weight you’ve never been able to lose….
Peace with dreams that were shattered,
And with life being good after all and against all the odds….
Peace with ignorant comments you made that hurt,
with arrogant perceptions that stick like crazy glue,
And deeds you didn’t know how better to do…
Making peace with self-righteousness,
feeling so right, yet so miserable and so lonely…
Making peace with generosity of spirit
that proves your cynicism wrong,
and your new found innocence right….
The time has come to make peace,
Because you want peace more than alienation,
Because you’ve had enough pain, dread and frustration
No matter how justified your anger maybe,
Self disdain is eating you up,
Looking like life is out to get you,
and the world is out to chase you….
It’s a great time to make peace with parts of yourself,
you used be mad at, critical off, desperate about and impatient with,
Struggle with yourself and self-sabotage.
Crazy feelings, and weird body parts.
It’s time to b r e a z e and take good care of your soul,
Renew your vows to yourself and breathe with more ease,
make more space, move with more grace, at the pace of the breath..
And when anxiety and stress get to you,
Triggering depression, blockage, and emotional upset,
Accept your disconnect, and have compassion for yourself,
Peace starts in the hearts of people.
Connect 2 the pulsation of peace in your heart,
2 the frequency of love in your breath,
2 the quiver of joy in your soul..
to being at ease with yourself.
Taking nothing personally, least of all yourself,
Lightening up with more calm and more joy,
More patience and more fun and much more laughter,
Because at the end of the day you deserve to make peace with yourself and with time,
Crossing the veil from fear to love,
loving all the way even the fear of being unlovable,
Honoring your loss and Celebrating the moment,
Remember you are precious,
Free to be at peace,
Worthy of being loved.
