We all have our reasons to be cynical and not to trust in life. Our history is filled with hollocaust, genocide, slavery, natural disasters, illness, childhood trauma, betrayal, disappointments & regrets. We can spend a life time talking about why we should not trust in life, live in fear & insecurity & in distrust of ourselves. However, life gives us daily opportunities to heal our trust and regain our innocence. Nothing is more beautiful about being human, than regaining our trust in life & in the human spirit, honoring our truth & following our heart, breath & being – in a sacred manner & in celebration.
That process however can be hard and trying especially if we are isolated in our head. We have to get sick & tired of our ‘bruised ego story’, before we can open our heart & feel compassion for the loss, the fear, and the hurt – in partnership with our higher power – the breath. We have to mourn our losses and betrayals, forgive them and let them go. Take care of yourself and open your heart to the breath. Allow it to transform & heal your betrayed self, and trust that life is good and you are good. Match life’s generosity by being generous to yourself, and by generating compassion to life, moment by moment, breath by breath.
