As I’m gathering myself this morning, I have tons of ideas about this transitioning time, but I’m also aware of the anxious-chattering-voice in the back of my head Debbie-downing-me. It’s nothing new, just the same old chatter hardening my heart & threatening me “to be careful or else…”
Being the dedicated practitioner of The BREAZE I open my heart to the breath in the moment, and can feel an instant softening of my heart & a calming of my world….
As I’m moving and doing my ‘sun salutation’, I’m experiencing a sense of presence & connection-2-life that heals my fear of being a loser….
I’m off onto my morning walk, smelling the rain & the air, I’m feeling the breath of the earth under my feet, listening to the sound of the music in my headphones.
While all this is going on, the news media keeps alerting us about the possible wrath of hurricane Joaquin. I’m chuckling how politically correct we have become, naming a hurricane a Mexican name while threatening to send Mexican immigrants back home…. “Humm”, I’m thinking, “maybe the next hurricane sh should be named ‘Hussein’ – and then we could acknowledge the president and the Syrian refugees all at once….
