Yesterday, I had a lazer procedure done on my face & hands to remove ‘ugly sun spots’. It’s a painful & costly procedure which I do every coupe of years, as part of my metrosexual-self-care-routine. The procedure was done in a beautiful dermatologists office in the Soho by three women. One was shaving my left arm, another was shaving my right arm, and the third one was putting jell on my scalp & preparing the lazer equipment. We were talking about meditation & were cracking jokes, but I was actually meditating & breathing love in 2 my anxiety about the anticipated-unbearable-pain -:). The procedure was uncomfortable while applied, and after it ended I had a burning sensation for a couple of hours. Of course I had some negative thoughts about how crazy it was to do it…. but I was able to tolerate it much better because I was paying gentle attention & breathing love.
