Remembrance Ceremony @ Gilda’s Club 2/25/16.
First I’d like to express how sorry I feel for your loss. There are no words to express how devastating it can feel to lose a loved one, and no one should assume to know how you feel. But nor is it a good idea to isolate in a bubble with an anxious voice that says that you’ll never recover this loss, ending up abandoning yourself. Having lost my grandparents whom I have never known, my parents, my life partner & many dear friends – It was the depression & self abandonment that turned the loss & grieving process – unbearable. The depression I’m talking about is an unbearable loss of self & a disconnect from the breath of life.
This evening I’d like share with you how you can minimize & clear the depression, and move through the pain of your loss without losing yourself. Breathe~Love-in-2-Your-Loss & Find-Your-Authentic-Self -:). Please take some time to pay attention and take care of yourself. Know that your loved one would be so happy to know that you are taking care of yourself and celebrate their life.
Breathe through the nose with ease. Slow your breathing down and follow the chimes. Breathing in on the higher chime…. Breathing out on the lower chime…. Notice where your breath is stuck…. & Breathe love. Open your heart and have compassion for your breath…
Continue breathing & notice where you feel tightness, numbness or pain in your body….
Breathelove …. Open your heart & breathe with ease….
Continue breathing & notice where you feel pain in your heart…. What’s the story that your critical voice is telling you about your loved one….How you treated them… Where they are….
Breathelove….. Open your heart & breathe compassion to your loved one for leaving and breathe compassion to yourself for being left with all this pain…
Be grateful to your willingness to breathe love to your loss & celebrate your life now…..
