“Stress is the friction between the original self & the masked self”
In this day and age, it’s more relevant than ever before to have access to an intelligence that helps us menage the stress that is the friction between the original and the masked self.
With the five steps of the BREAZE, you can transform your stress to breath, and enhance your Breath-Intelligence. Develop a self-supportive & self empowering breathing-practice. Learn to breathe~love into your stress & struggles, moment by moment, breath by breath. open your heart 2 the breath of now & have a heart 4 yourself. Your Breath~Intelligence is a natural way of managing PTSD, anxiety & depression. It connects you to the unarguable joy of being alive – your ‘resilient child’.
I have not been able to argue the transformational affects of my breathing-practice, especially in dealing with depression. When my psychiatrist told me that he didn’t know what to do for me any more, because I exhausted the course of medication, I asked the breath – my higher power for help, and the help came through opening my heart & having compassion for my depression for the first time in my life. My healing started from the inside out, and it continues daily with the practice of breathing easy & opening my heart to the breath – no matter what happens. With the BREAZE, you can offer your stress & struggles (physical, mental & emotional) to the breath, breathe easy, have a heart for yourself and be free. By doing so, you can transform your stress & struggles to joy & ease, and turn your fear into love. You can tap into the wisdom of the unarguable – your Breath Intelligence & play the game of life with awareness, and with a fuller deck of cards. You can really take responsibility for your mental-emotional-pysical health, as a victor of the present, not a victim of the past.
As I developed my daily practice, I was invited to share and teach The BREAE at a year long study for people with Schizophrenia conducted at a mental hospital in New York, a program for teenagers at a school in Long Island, and last year in South Sudan, working with refugees & people with PTSD. In October I went to Berlin with a team of seven and with Drs. Brown & Gerbarg, to work with middle eastern refugees. The highlight of the work for me was when a five year old child joined our training and participated playfully in breathing coherently, and connected me to my ‘resilient child’.
“The breath is the link between the inner and outer worlds. It balances and raises your energy. It keeps you anchored in the inner world, while being aware of the outer world.” — Dr. Richard Brown
