Are you a teacher or school administrator who would like to find out more about how the BREAZE can help your students?
The core of the B R E A Z E is learning how to pay attention through breath~awareness. Following the breath and opening your heart to the moment and breathing as one. According to researchers, Dr. Richard P. Brown and Dr. Patricia Gerbarg, Coherent Breathing at 5 breaths per minute, is a rate that has been shown to quickly create a balanced mental state of calmness with alertness. It resets the stress response system for better emotion self-regulation, supports bonding and connectedness, and improves cognitive function and learning. The B R E A Z E Method integrates Coherent Breathing with movement, music, imagery, and self-development practices that are relevant and engaging for teenagers.

B R E A Z E – 5 Steps to Confidence, Creativity, Joy & Ease
There is a gifted child in all of us. When teenagers and young adults try to live up to the expectations placed on them by their families, their schools and themselves, the gifted child can become an unhappy hostage to achievement and academic success. Not knowing how to take care of themselves or how to be present to the gifted child inside, they may disconnect from their body, heart or breath. Disconnection creates loneliness, stress and anxiety, insecurity and depression. Sometimes disconnected isolation is manifested as an eating disorder, victimization, bullying, substance abuse, or a suicide attempt. The 5-Step B R E A Z E program provides practical tools and techniques to train, empower and inspire students to partner their care with the breath, and express their gifts, enjoy and be at ease with themselves while excelling.
